In a quiet street overlooking Terranora Creek in Tweed Heads, sits takeaway coffee house Next Door Espresso. Next Door Espresso is all about the important things. Great coffee, amazing food and great vibes. The aesthetically pleasing white and pink facade, invites you into the boho interior. Local produce makes up the extensive menu and as a result everyones tastes will be covered. While waiting for your meal or coffee, you can browse an array of local designers within the cafe. Not to mention the extremely cute surprise waiting inside. But I will discuss this later on.
If you love your coffee, you will be happy to know that Next Door Espresso shares the same love. Stocking Moonshine Coffee from Byron Bay, therefore you know the coffee is going to be amazing. For the health aficionados out there, you will be happy to hear that they serve a range of nourishing hot drinks. Including a velvet latte, mermaid latte and a turmeric latte. In addition to the variety of hot beverages, is the variety of cold pressed juices, smoothies and milkshakes. Everything from a caramel milkshake, a banana split smoothie to the red cold pressed juice. A combination of beetroot, carrot, ginger, lemon and apple. This juice is bound to make your tastebuds explode, all the while feeling like you are the definition of health.
In addition to the incredible drinks, the food menu at Next Door Espresso is perfection. On our table, the deconstructed acai bowl, sourdough with smashed avocado, greens, dukkah, bacon and eggs and the sourdough with smashed avo, greens and dukkah. Also on offer, granola and yogurt, a brekky burger, toast, and a pulled pork burger to name a few. Being a takeaway coffee house, the ease of a quick meal is sorted via the “in the cabinet” menu. Offering everything from a muffin, grilled veggie toastie, ham and cheese croissant to a salad of the day. For the sweet tooth, a range of cakes and vegan treats are also available! All meals are served in cute cardboard take away boxes, adding to that boho vibe.
On to that extremely cute surprise waiting inside. Next Door Espresso’s on staff mascot is Harry. If you are a dog person, you will be happy to hear that Harry is a Golden Retriever puppy. He is the absolute cutest and just adds to the great vibes that are already injected into this space.
