I don’t know about you but whenever I am in doubt for an outfit for an event. I turn to a little black dress. But Bec & Bridge have introduced a contender, the little grey dress. The Bec & Bridge Alix Dress is classic in style yet with a modern twist. Made with linen, as a result this dress is unique as you often don’t see cocktail style dresses made out of this material. While the linen is a point of difference, its also bang on trend for this season. The draping detailing adds a fun element and the grey and black contrast is a minimalist dream.
With the draping detailing coming from the bust down into the waist, it accentuates and flatters. A detail I love is the way they have backed the grey linen with black. The flowing effect from the waist with the contrast of the grey and the hint of black is stunning.
The Bec & Bridge Alix Dress with its simple yet sophisticated design is incredibly easy to style as it is the main focus. Due to this I opted for a Saint Laurent Université Bag, a black and gold bag that is classic and simplistic in design. Jewellery as per usual for me was minimal. My go to Saint Laurent ring is making an appearance yet again but in black. Many years ago, I got my first ever job with Tony Bianco hence growing my already massive love for shoes. I may be biased in saying this, but Tony Bianco is one of my favourite shoe labels and they are Australian, which just adds to the love! My Tony Bianco, Kiki heels have become a massive go to piece in my wardrobe. Inspired by Yezzy’s design but at fraction of the price, I saw them and knew I had to have them. They are statement making, all the while being inconspicuous.
