In this behind the scenes I show you the process for @glowupbeverages

This shoot was all about highlighting the tasting notes within the canned cocktails that take classics and add a twist. The range consists of lychee martini, cosmopolitan and French martini.

Colour palette was referencing the colours on the cans which were a light cream, light pink and a darker pink. Stone was incorporated for texture.

As said before a key in this shoot was highlighting the ingredients. Props were minimal with fruits and statement making glassware. Broken pieces of travertine were used to allow for height to be built in order for group shots.

Editing within Lightroom consisted of adjusting the brightness, contrast, highlights and the stone saturation to remove the unwanted yellow/orange tones.

Photoshop is where I tweak the images further by using the healing brush tool to remove any unwanted marks or objects. I use the brush tool to perfect the colour of the background and the dodge and burn tool to brighten or darken any areas. In order to make sure the colours of the cocktails were accurate I used the colour range tool to select each individual cocktail and used the hue/saturation selections to alter it until it was a true representation.

My morning routine with @jshealthvitamins

My mornings consist of waking up and getting changed into my athletic wear. I find this helps me get into the mindframe to be motivated. I then do a round of hill sprints and if I’m not planning on going to gym for the day a at home workout. I light a candle and get started on my day usually going over my Google calendar where I time block the day. It’s of course followed by water abs taking my fish oil and anxiety and stress tablets. I also do my skin care routine to freshen myself up.

What’s your morning routine?

Fish oil assists in general well being, brain and cognitive health and heart health in conjunction with a healthy diet and regular exercise. Anxiety and stress tablets can assist in relieving symptoms of mild anxiety.

2022 is nearly to an end so I of course had to loo

2022 is nearly to an end so I of course had to look back on my work for this year. So here are a few of my favourite photos taken this year.

I can’t begin to explain how proud I am of what I achieved this year professionally. I had the opportunity to work with dream clients and incredible businesses/people, not to mention that it was my biggest year financially since working for myself.

Of course there were times of imposter syndrome and doubting myself but seeing only a small amount of what was created this year in this video, I have to say I’m proud and extremely thankful to do what I do.

If you had told me when I decided to start working for myself on essentially a whim after moving back from Bali that I would be here five years on and that I would have achieved what I have this year. I wouldn’t have believed it.

I can’t wait to see what 2023 has install on both a professional and personal level. I’m excited to see the brands I work with, my continual development of my skills and furthering my relationship with myself.

I want to say a massive thank you to my boyfriend, Warwick for being here for me (helping with the mental breakdowns), being a shoulder to lean on and talk to about what I do as well as pushing me to become better. I’m extremely grateful for you 🤍

In this reel I take you behind the scenes of how I create one of my favourite images, a floating image!

You maybe thinking, what exactly does that mean? Well it’s all about having the products floating within the image via the magic of Photoshop!

I do this often, specifically if there are numerous products involved as it’s a fun way to showcase them. You most likely would have seen that I love incorporating floating elements throughout my images whether it’s a dropper, a spoon or even a honey stick.

You’ll first have to place the products on something that allows them to appear that they are floating, for this I used an acrylic plinth. Be sure to have blu-tack on hand to help secure the product in the position you want it. Take individual images of each product.

1. Edit the images in Lightroom and open the base image in Photoshop. Make any adjustments to the crop/dimension of the image and use the quick selection tool and select object to select the object.
2. Once the object is selected use the add or subtract selection tools to make the selection perfect. Go to select and inverse and then select the eraser to remove the background of the image.
3. Use the paint bucket tool to add a background colour of your choice.
4. Place all images within Photoshop and repeat these steps for each image.
5. After all are completed start moving the products around until you are happy with the placement and composition for the image.
