Luxtrés is a premium press-on nail brand looking to move beyond trend-driven content and establish a sophisticated, editorial visual identity. After two previous shoots that didn't hit the mark, founder of Luxtrés came to me to develop the visuals.
Press-on nails are a saturated category defined by bright, high-energy content. Luxtrés needed imagery that did the opposite — visuals that communicated genuine luxury and staying power, without losing the commercial versatility required across web, social and campaign use.
The entire shoot was built around restraint. I developed a palette that reflected the brand and paired minimal compositions with tactile styling — letting texture and light carry the weight that colour and busy styling would normally do. Soft femininity was balanced with editorial confidence throughout. The stop motion was conceptulised to add movement without sacrificing the calm, considered mood of the stills.
Every decision — from prop selection to surface choice to lighting angle — was made to signal quiet luxury rather than obvious glamour.
Creative direction · Concept development · Set styling · Product photography · On Location Model Photography · Stop motion · Post-production & retouching
The resulting body of work gave Luxtrés a cohesive visual identity deployable across all brand touchpoints — shifting their visual presence from trend-adjacent to genuinely editorial, and establishing a clear aesthetic foundation for future campaigns.
