The Hotel

A perfect way to describe The Calile Hotel is a “urban resort. It more importantly is just that. Instead of the traditional dark, carpeted hallways The Calile Hotel features spaces focusing on Queensland’s famous climate. As a result the focal point of design is on breeze blocks, open air nooks and fans for their hallways sees the outside coming in. Another element is the gorgeous brass detailing seen via the elevators and lighting fixtures. Accompanying the concrete facade is white bricks and geometric shapes. Majority of the 175 rooms have a balcony that over look the pool, yet again allowing the connection to the outside to be seen. Palm trees line the pool, accompanying the relaxing vibe is the cosy cabanas and green and white umbrellas to spend the day relaxing.
